In order to receive a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa from the U.S. Consulate an Intern must obtain a Certificate of Eligibility (DS-2019) from a U.S. Department of State (DOS) designated program sponsor. The GACC is an official DOS sanctioned organization authorized to issue a DS-2019 Certificate. Once an Intern has obtained a DS-2019 Certificate it is then possible for him/her to apply for a J-1 Exchange Visitor visa at a U.S. Consulate. Please contact us for more information.
