Our DEinternational Consulting Services department of the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., Office for the Western United States, is the first point of contact for German companies interested in doing business in the U.S., particularly on the West Coast.

The German American Chambers of Commerce, Inc. (GACC) in New York and San Francisco have an extensive membership network of German and U.S. companies involved in transatlantic business. Planning to hire German interns?
A J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa is required in order to do an internship in the U.S. The GACC is an official DOS sanctioned organization authorized to issue the required certificates and can assist you with applying for a J-1 Visa for your interns.
